The role: Contracts Manager, Products and Agreements

With a company growing at such fast speeds, every day another deal is made to keep Google running. As a member of the Legal Contracts team, you are the face of Google when it comes to negotiating contracts. You review, negotiate and revise contracts -- often juggling several contracts at a time. You develop practical and innovative ways to meet Google's needs and keep the company thriving, with the ability to affect Google's long-term goals. You work with both internal clients and external customers with the goal of finalizing contracts that keep Google on its feet.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead contract negotiator with a variety of Google business partners.
• Assist clients in articulating and obtaining approvals for contract changes.
• Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal and approval processes.
• Take responsibility for drafting non-standard terms
• Manage internal training related to improvement processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years relevant work experience in contract negotiation and drafting.
• BA degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 years relevant work experience with commercial agreements with a fast-paced technology/Internet company (especially intellectual property experience).
• Excellent analytical skills, with a strong ability to draft and review legal documents, analyze legal advice and apply legal advice to business needs.
